Refresher Appraiser: pre-course work

All participants are asked to complete the below pre-course modules prior to attending the allocated half-day training (delivered via MS Teams).  An optional workbook has also been provided for you as an aide-mémoire in your learning.

Pre-attendance checklist:

	Complete below video modules
	Consider an appraisal situation (as appraisee) for the mini practice session Something you can discuss and reflect within 10-12 minutes Examples include Significant Event, Quality Improvement Activity or MSF etc You will be appraised by fellow participants Purpose to is keep the exercise as real as possible Download and use the provided template to make (anonymised) notes and be prepared to share with fellow participants Focus is not on your materials, but on appraiser skills You will work in trios and alternate between appraiser, appraisee and observer roles
	When training place is allocated - upload your template to MS Teams folder (instructions will be provided once place is confirmed)

Optionally, participants are invited to review modules 7a (secondary care) and 7b (primary care) of the New Appraiser training programme with regards to appraising in the trainer role.
