Appraiser Agility

Medical Appraisal is designed to be a supportive and formative process to recognise colleagues’ achievements and help reflect on their learning in a challenging but safe environment.

Challenges come in different forms and directions, and it’s not always about the appraisee.  For example, what role does neurodiversity play in appraisal?  Why might they be presented the way they do?  Why they are not engaging, is it the appraisee or is it appraiser?

Appraisers need to be flexible, and this session explores the mental agility of an appraiser.
