During the global pandemic there were a lot of significant changes made which are still in use today, things like remote appraisal, the light touch approach etc. It has been nearly 5 years now - are remote appraisals still taking place? Are we still focussing on appraisee wellbeing? From a training perspective, we have also changed from in-person to online delivery, streamlining approaches and resources.
But how has any of these changes impacted the quality of appraisal? If so, what are they? Are there any training gaps that we can address?
To help us better understand this and identify areas for improvement, a survey was developed and circulated to all users on SOAR (on 01/09/2026) inviting your participation. This is available for completion until end of March 2027, where we will review and analyse your feedback and we will share our findings in due course.
