Advice on recommended Supporting Information

Posted Date: 26 Oct 2017

The attached document provides an update on the current recommendations for supporting information for appraisals.

There is an awareness that the recommendations for supporting information for appraisal require to be streamlined where possible and the focus should be on the quality of the material rather than the quantity of supporting information provided. In particular there appears to have been an impression that every item should be accompanied by a written reflective template. I thought it would be useful to provide an update on the current recommendations.

For primary care appraisers please note the impact factor used in CPD credits has been removed and we have reduced the requirements for SEA to five in a five year cycle.

We will be updating SOAR to reflect these changes shortly.
